The Personal Firewall also comes with a feature - Global lock - to immediately shut down all network access, very useful when you suspect your system has been infected with a virus that is using your Internet to spread itself or when you just want to lock your computer. Trusted zones open your computer up only to the computers you want. The Personal Firewall lets you define & enforce trusted zones, computers that you are sure have legitimate reasons to connect to yours. Program Control facilitates another protection layer by asking you to give permission to access the Internet for each program that attempts to do so. In addition to this, Real time network traffic indicators and Automatic Lock, which shuts down Internet access after specified period of inactivity, give you comprehensive protection. |
